Firaq.
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Firaq, operated by Firaq, Cairo, Egypt. By creating an account you agree to them, to the Privacy Policy at https://firaq.space/privacy and to the Data Processing Addendum at https://firaq.space/dpa, which forms part of these terms.
1. The service
Firaq helps teams that run squads handle their ceremonies asynchronously: daily standups, sprint retros, planning poker, blockers, and a cross-squad view for the people who run several squads. It does not replace your meetings. It makes them shorter and leaves a history.
2. Accounts
- An organization is created by its admin. The admin decides who joins, chooses what the organization records, and answers for the organization's use of Firaq.
- Give us accurate details and keep your password to yourself. Use a password you use nowhere else.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell us at pr@firaq.space and change your password.
- One person, one account. One email address belongs to one account.
3. Plans and trials
- Firaq has four plans: Free (one squad), Starter, Growth and Scale.
- Every new organization starts with a 30-day Starter trial.
- When a trial lapses, the organization drops to Free. If it has more squads than Free allows, one squad stays fully usable and the others become read-only for new entries. Nothing is deleted, and the history stays readable.
- Paid plans are not switched on yet. Firaq will give notice before anything costs money. Prices will be in Egyptian pounds (EGP) when they start.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or use Firaq to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- attack, overload or probe the service for weaknesses without our written permission;
- get around plan limits, rate limits or access controls;
- try to reach data that belongs to another organization or squad;
- create accounts or organizations with scripts or other automation.
5. Your data
The content you and your team put into Firaq stays yours. We process it to run the service, as the Privacy Policy describes. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
6. AI features
AI features are optional. They stay off until an organization admin turns them on in Settings. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so read it before you rely on it.
7. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Firaq running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. Features may change or be removed. When a change affects what an organization pays for, we tell its admins first.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Firaq is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to what the organization paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend an account or organization that breaks these terms, and we will say why when we can. An organization's admin can close its account at any time by emailing pr@firaq.space. When it does, we erase its data as the Privacy Policy describes.
10. Governing law
These terms follow the laws of Egypt. The courts of Cairo decide any dispute about them.
11. Changes to these terms
We post each new version on this page with the date it takes effect. For a change that matters, we email organization admins before it applies.
